Hi folks
here we have a 1970's Jensen #20G that has been restored to better than new condition, I changed out the old boiler for the Immersion rod 660 Hotwatt heater style, the firebox, chimney stand & chimney have all been bead blasted & repainted with vht "burnt copper' paint, the engine & generator cast iron bases have also been stripped & repainted with Verde green hammer tone paint. the #20 engine now has sealed roller ball bearings in the stanchions & is super smooth now. the generator has had the axle replaced with a longer one & (2) 4 tiered internally knurled pulleys have been installed along with (2) brass oilers on top of the stanchions. A new plinth was made (3/4" thick) and a new brass tag has been affixed. it runs very well (in both directions).
price is $650. +$25 for shipping, I will take cash, cleared check or Zelle, PayPal is now charging for everything. I have the original (newer)Jensen #20 box it was shipped to me in & will be packaged in yet a bigger box. I'm not interested in taking less because it worth every penny & I'll just keep it, A new Jensen #20G is $800 and has the aluminum regular Genny. shipping to US only as overseas insurance is basically non-existent. Please PM me if interested.

Bruce, I would love to buy it - very nice condition -
and I still have no Jensen - but shipping only US >:(
I know it is critical to ship overseas - therefor
I have to be happy with Maerklin & Co

Hey Arnold, yes most everybody would have liked to buy Bruce's super nice and highly modified Jensen #20, but don't give up on ever owning a Jensen yourself, as at least some were specially made and sent into the European market as 220 volt models with the correct Euro plugs even. I'm sure they don't show up for sale there often, but do on occasion, as I know some folks on your side of the pond that have managed to find them. Best of luck in your continued search!

I do apologize Arnold
I rarely buy & sell overseas anymore do to horrendous shipping conditions and insurance that isn't worth the paper its written on. I'm dealing with a claim right now for a steam accessory that has been on going for a couple of months now, unfortunately I have no resolution yet. 😔
