A Package Arrived from New Zealand
« on: February 16, 2022, 02:26:37 pm »
A big thank you to Dennis for his help in getting me two David Auld Steam Engines.  I got one fully assembled and one as a kit to assemble myself.

My understanding is that a friend of Dennis’ purchased all of the remaining stock of Mr. Auld’s estate and Dennis has been assembling new engines from the New Old Stock (NOS).

These are really well made engines!

Thanks again Dennis.

Quite an odyssey getting it from NZ to the USA.

Do you know the thread for the safety valve?

No safety valve as such but the filler bung is 1/4 BSW which is 20 tpi
Sme as the Safety valve on your boat i think
