Those dancing men are so cool Nick, so much movement from such a simple mechanism.
I remember seeing Patachon and Pat before as well. Not sure if I spelled that corectly.
Also I think Happy Jack and James came as a Duo, or as single dancers so I'm sure you'll find them.

Thanks Bill, I've bid on a few Happy Jack/James' but have not yet been successful... I think these attract competition with the tin toy market...  There was also a Mickey Mouse, but for obvious reasons, the price is sky high on that one  :o

Just as an aside .... way aside .... a neighbor, friend, County Supervisor and local water operator/engineer whom I deal with in both personal and professional capacities on a very regular basis, is the grandson of Charlie's personal video-photographer. Remember that this was back when the cameras were hand cranked, and so frames per second were sometimes a bit variable, which was something of a trademark of Chaplin's films.

Thus making the films look somewhat like the motions of your new tin toy dancing Charlie!
