Mamod Centurion found my house.
« on: January 13, 2021, 01:40:03 pm »
Was just looking around on Ebay the other day at steam stuff and wandered into Mamod Steam.
I have two of their stationary engines, a minor and a SE3. My mobiles are all Wilesco except
for trains, so I started looking at TE's and thought, find a centurion with the double acting
cylinder. Was almost done and there one was, in my state, nice looking shape, missing a nut
from the cylinder block,( I have a bunch of that stuff), BIN $165.00., $16 shipping. Got it
down to $140.00, here it is. You'll see some of the blue protective film still on the firebox.

You did well on that one Tom , I think they command a pretty good price when new. This one looks nearly new 😊👍
