My Traction Engine Display
« on: 2 hours ago »
Hello all, I'm new to this hobby and I thought I'd share some pictures of my 2 inch scale traction engine I bought about 6 months ago. I still don't know much about steam engines but am learning and hope to visit some steam clubs this spring and summer to learn more.

Welcome from MN! Have you had a chance to fire it up? What part of the world are you in, maybe someone knows of a show/club for you to visit…

I'm in South Carolina. I ran it shortly with low pressure compressed air and the engine ran very smooth. I didn't try and put it in gear to run the wheels, I'm not even sure that's possible with compressed air?

There is a railroad steam club a few hours away I'm going to go visit in about a month and that should be very informative and I'll be on the lookout for more shows and clubs to attend where and when I can.
