I picked up another B43 (EMPCO) Gauge engine that needed saving, which will go to Nate, my brother.  It was missing its sight glass (sadly one nut too), broken whistle lever and the glass is missing from the gauge.  I was worried the gauge wouldn't work but other being discolored it seems to work perfectly.  Some odd white paint like subtense was all over the engine, it even got into the heater (between the mica too).  Luckily it wiped off with water.  The nichrome wire was surprisingly in great shape - I just needed to wipe off that white paint stuff.

So after cleaning, installing some spare parts, and new seals this rare engine runs again - YAY!
