Hey everyone, when I saw the Jensen that Bruce had nickle plated it reminded me of a Wilesco D12 that I picked up all ready done.
I bought about 6 years ago and had it out for the first 9 months. What a pain to keep clean. Mentioned it earlier and Bruce said he
wanted to see it so maybe a few you would too. I hope this much bling doesn't turn into a fad kinda thing.    Ooh!

Quite certain that D12 is original from Wilesco, and made as a dealer special, to be used as an eye-catcher...or as a special order.
Leaning more towards the first, since several models was made this way, special orders usually is limited to a single model.

I have seen a few over the years with the exact same copper/chrome scheme, and actually own a D20 in that "dress" myself.

That's a very good looking engine    I don't remember seeing one for sale. I wonder if Stefan has one on his website...

Those dealer/demonstrator models must be rare birds indeed ..... beautiful plumage!!!

Tommy, i have no info on these at all, and just assume that they were factory-made, due to the reasons already mentioned.
