A New Carette is blooming, they say they're good for your eye's.

I've had this for a while just cleaning and resealing the site glass. Which I have to do again,
it's plugged on the bottom. Was going to save it for next years steam up. There are other ones.

Beautiful engine! I love Carette and especially this model with its Stephenson's link reversing.

So would I.

I steamed it and shot a video right after I took these shots. It works in both directions but
one is a third the speed of the other. Still playing with adjustments. I believe this is the
696 model.

Mine looks the same  but with the boiler feed pump

You did a wonderful job there, Tommy. There is something dignified about the machine. In my opinion, the Carette steam engines are something special anyway. You have the gift of getting something special out of such a machine.😍🍸👍
