Well worth the drive Nick.  A lovely example of a #95 G.

For some reason I always thought you already had this model.

Well worth the drive Nick.  A lovely example of a #95 G.

For some reason I always thought you already had this model.

I have wanted one for YEARS, and was always going to buy one new, but ebay continuously cancelled those plans... and currently they are unavailable.

This one came up at $500 last Wednesday, then on Thursday I could no longer find the ad so I figured it had sold. Friday it was there again, now reduced to $400. The best part was it was located in McHenry, the same town that my grandpa's sister lives in (just a little ways outside of Chicago), so we had a place to spend the night.

While talking to the guy at Walmart, he told me he knew exactly where I was from. Turns out he is a truck driver and has delivered to our local "Dollar General" a few times in the past and has driven right past my house. And a few weeks ago when we were stranded for two days in a hotel during a snowstorm, he was also stranded just 15 miles away. Was a very nice guy, who mainly flies large model airplanes. He bought the 95G new a couple years ago and has only fired it up 2 or 3 times. Hoping he will come across the box and instructions someday...

You did extremely well on that one Nick, congrats !

I paid $535 for mine (mint condition with box/accessories) back in March 2013, and considered myself very lucky, since so very few secondhand examples was/is listed.

Additional nerd-info from the "Jensen Geekopedia" here:

When introduced in late 2005, the Jensen 95 was priced at $649.98.
Back in 2013 where i bought mine, they were listed at $745.95.
Final price until it was removed from the website was set at $772.95.
Cheers

You would have to add about $60 to the $400 for shipping, since the trip took a tank of gas there and a tank back, but did give us an excuse for a mini-vacation.

And thank you for the "nerd-info" I was wondering what Jensen had priced them at... I thought it was still on the website, and marked un-available, but I see it is no longer there.

There was one on ebay recently with a BIN, can't remember if it was around the $500 mark, but I hesitated and it was gone all too fast.

With some recent Jensen ebay prices, I do wonder what one would bring today... but I am not going to put mine on there to find out  :D

Just been searching and cannot find it. I don't think it had Jensen in the ebay title...

I think it had a "make offer" option and I made the mistake of trying that instead of just clicking the BIN

It was only there for a few minutes and I can't remember if it was $500 or $700 and maybe I offered $500?

Well bought, Nick. With your penchant for impromptu road trips, you must be singlehandedly keeping Red Bull in the black.
Looking forward to the video.

I just seen that, Thank You very much Carl. Still hoping the seller will find his box/instructions, but your copy will do if he doesn't  :)
