Great info Gil! I first contacted the seller on January 31st. He had a picture of another engine (shown below) in an antique shop so I got his number from a lady at the shop. She told me to be patient with him as he is nearing 90 and has a dozen or so storage sheds all over. I gave him a call and he said he had a show around Valentine’s Day to get ready for, so wait till after that… maybe March he says    Called him again early March and he said he knows where it is but would need some time to get to it… Called back on Friday and he was just heading out for the weekend, he said try next week. Called him right away this morning and got there just in time before he was leaving.   He did show me the pictured engine in person, but I did not recognize the maker and he’s pretty set on $1650 because it’s brass or bronze.
