https://www.ebay.com/itm/Early-electric-demonstration-motor-made-around-1880-/333488954266?nma=true&si=Q9NLB4k40dmp4DkgaTqX9V2EDPA%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Just won this on ebay, but will have to wait awhile to actually enjoy it and add to my motor collection. Due date from across the pond is March 6th!

However, i am expecting an early solenoid motor 2 days from now, so should get to share it soon.

That looks like a terrific motor, Doug. I hope that it makes it across the pond without incident.

Nice piece Doug    I must resist the urge to branch away from steam!

I have found overseas purchases arrive in 5 to 6 days or 5 to 6 weeks, no in-between...

That’s a nice looking piece Doug, kind of grew fond of the electromagnetic motors after I picked a H-K up cheep at an auction because nobody new what it was.
