Thanks for that info Bruce, seems like a fair price at $0.24 per bulb.

Thanks Daniel
Shipping was $7.00, whether I bought 2 or 6 packs, so I bought 6 pkgs. I just came across my source again today and these things seam elusive to find, especially the large globe ,low voltage style

Thanks Bruce, I just ordered some of the 1.5 volt and some 2.5volt. Their listing said those
were out of stock, but I clicked it anyway for info and it said 1509 in stock. We'll see what
I get and long they last.

Thanks Bruce!

Code: [Select]
E10 Base Bulbs

BULB   VOLTAGE   AMPS     WATTS

#14    2.47V     .30A     .741W    Standard for Jensen #15
#131   1.30V     .10A     .130W    Low HP motor & Jensen #15
#502   5.10V     .15A     .765W    Stepper-motor Generator
#359   1.35V     .06A     .081W    Low HP motor & Jensen #15
#222   2.25V     .25A     .563W    Focused-beam for Jensen #15
#352x  3.00V     .07A     .210W    Standard for Jensen #15E

With half the voltage (and watts) of a #14 these should work well with most gen/engine combos. Usually I use a #131 with small engines, but they are really easy to pop if you get too heavy-handed with the throttle.

Have several boxes on order!

I hope they work well for you; these can pop with a heavy throttle hand just like any light bulb, but seem to light quicker & needing less RPM. but these are the large globe which I have found looks really good & are similar to the vintage Jensen bulb of old.

Hey Bruce,
I just finished watching your YouTube video of the generator and lamp post set that you are making. From where did you buy the lamp post? I also have this same aliexpress generator and have been looking for a good lamp.
Sometimes it’s hard to find these things here in Europe.
Thanks,
Tim

I know its a pain in the arse, but if anyone is ordering more globes from this supplier in the U.S, if possible could you order me three (3) packs and post them to me down here and I will re-imburse you via PayPal friend/family payment for all costs incurred?

These bulbs come from China, so surely you can buy them directly from someplace closer and save a ton on postage?

The trick is finding ones with the larger globes: 14 mm vs 11 mm.

https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805421989267.html

For me, the link above is 50 for $7.99 free shipping. You probably want either the E10 1.5v 0.3A or E10 2.5v 0.3A (GE14).  These are the slightly smaller 11 mm diameter vs the 14 mm diameter from the link Bruce posted.

All the bulbs that I received in Jensen products were the smaller 11 mm size.

I bought 6 packs last time Jim, I would be happy to do as you ask & send 3 your way.
