Very Nice Charlie ..... Well Done That!

He is most definitely MISSED here!!!

Thank you for this, Charlie.

I still miss him at shows like Cabin Fever, Rough & Tumble, and Coolspring and on long phone calls.

Here is a video of a nice unusual nickel plated Doll overtype that I got from the auction.
Video was filmed back when it was mine 13 years ago. I eventually sent it to member Earlytimes (Bob) who later on sent it on to Scott (oilfield_steam)

Enjoy,

Gil

I'd forgotten about that nickel plated beauty, fond memories.

Thank you for posting Charlie, he didn't seem all that old.  I hope his items went to homes were they are well loved!

It's hard to convey how I feel about my Empire items that were in Carl Pilletteri's collection, in the simplest terms I am honored to have them in my possession.  I don't just own them, I see myself more as a care taker.  My family thinks I am a little nuts but I have tried to explain to them that once I am no longer around to insure they are passed on properly.  Empires are no where as nice or as important as Scott's Dolls but I love them very much.

Charlie, Thanks for posting a Memorial Table for Scott.

Here’s some video of my favorite engines that I have from Scott’s collection

And the coal miner from his auction
