Parallelmotion's table

Sorry I have not been able to put together a proper table but thought this better than nothing. This is the smallest and earliest of the Schoenner sideshaft atmospheric, flame ignition gas engines from 1896. Seldom seen running.

I feel a little spoiled as I got to see it in person at the Flame Ignition Expo at the Coolspring Power Museum.

But wait.....   I have more!

Today this is the only video I had time to create. Brent had asked me to meet a lady from Greenwich to pick up a Marklin Carousel for him. It turns out she is the original owner and turned over her original sales invoice from 20 years ago when she bought it. She was very pleased to learn it would not be flipped and that it will be part of Brent's permanent collection.

I got it home and could not resist opening it up for a little play.

and...  I am pretty certain Ci Ci will want to give it a go tomorrow.

Then I'll put it back in it's crate and find a box to protect it until Coolspring.

I made a short video and it belongs here on Brent's Table.

Great to have the receipt, even if it isn’t an antique yet... What was the original price on these?

Thanks Gil. The quality of the music is better than I expected. Not sure what the original price of these were, but an original (antique) will cost you upwards of $50k.

I will be happy with my replica then  ;)  :D

I remember sending my mom to pick mine up as she works by the UPS store. Took her and a couple workers awhile to figure out how to get it in her car  :D  They eventually had to take it out of the shipping box as it wouldn’t fit... peanuts everywhere  :D
