Gotta love steam shovels! I was able to do some firing on this Bucyrus Erie 50B last September at Rollag. The boiler room was so hot I only lasted 20 minutes, that is a young man's game. The chug-chug you hear is the duplex feed pump exhausting out the rear. The noise of the hoist engine is deafening. Definitely a bucket list item and childhood dream come true.
