Second Day of Coolspring Engine Show
« on: June 16, 2021, 08:55:32 pm »
It's the second day of Coolspring!  I found several new items, including an early Maytag vertical utility hit and miss engine.  Also a suitable buzz box from another vendor, and a rather interesting lot of model steam engine fittings at a very reasonable price.  I also bought Gil's small vertical Sipps steam engine, which needs a proper valve cover made, but otherwise it is a very good example.  Lastly, but not pictured, a Redwing hit and miss engine casting kit.  [ Guests cannot view attachments ] [ Guests cannot view attachments ] [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

I believe you are correct. There is a bigger upright as well, but i am pretty sure this one is 1/2 hp.
