Been there once as all my Iowa friends said you have to go, but to be honest, Rollag (Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion) is far better and they actually work the steam engines, not just boil water like they do down at old threshers
I have a camper up at Rollag and spend a good chunk of my summer there and being both shows are Labor Day weekend I will probably never make it back down there.

Looks like Rollag is about 60 miles closer for you than mount pleasant, you really should consider making the trip! You can’t see it all in one day…
