Third PSE Polish Steam Engine
« on: December 30, 2021, 02:26:08 pm »
This is the third and final of my recent PSE Polish Steam Engine purchases.  This beam model and the vertical steam engine posted a few days ago were both Christmas presents.  This one didn't make it until a couple of days after Christmas.  Each engine I have purchased seems to be getting a little better at running on low pressure right out of the box.  This one runs very smoothly right out of the box on four psi.  This is the only one of the three that I purchased with the patina-ed finish.  I think it suits this particular model, but I still like the polished ones better!
They have quite a few other models available in their online catalog, but these will have to suffice for now.

Nice models. What about lubrication particularly of the main piston when running on air?

I like them all Doug , particularly the larger one on the right I think. Its interesting to see them next to each other , helps give a sense of scale.

For short runs on air I just inject some 30w oil into the line. For long runs at shows, a in line air tool lubricated works well and are not expensive.
