Today was registration and set up day at Cabin Fever.
I put a few things in the consignment room, looked through the auction, and marked spaces for myself, Doug and Chris, Brent, Ronald McClellan, and a couple others.
We brought our engines and displays in and set them on the tables. I'll work on air lines in the morning and add photos and videos as time allows.
Then the surprise of all surprises.... Howard Shoe's daughter, son in law, and granddaughter (Amanda, Gary, & Mckenzie) and Tommy Rumley all showed up out of the clear blue. This was especially heart warming since as part of my display I brought one super nice 1930s Jensen Big Power Plant and placed a sign in front of it saying "Remembering Howard Shoe".
Then I moved all my display pieces closer together to make room for them. They also brought some real special Jensen Steam Engines. I will have to get pictures of these to share here,
For now the only picture I have is of the 9 of us who had dinner together at Isaac's.
Enjoy,
Gil
