« on: March 29, 2021, 01:04:33 pm »
Now the Carette arrived - the size is clear 686/1
12  x  6 1/2  x  4"
She is in excellent condition and runs very nice.
The Burner can't be regulated - the Knob is missing -
but it is okay. Will make a video soon.

It certainly is a beauty. Being vertical means smaller footprint. Nice one Arnold.

Very nice addition to your collection Arnold.

I have a similar engine that I identified as a Carette 686/2.  Not sure what the difference are, but you can see mine in a “Carette Family Portrait” that I took in 2018.

Hi Charlie, thank you - I thinks these Carette's are very nice objects - perfectly build.
It is only the size that varies - mine is the smallest of the three. I have seen your
wonderful collection already - it is fantastic and it is hard to find today. Very nice indeed!
greetings to Texas, Arnold
