Renown Australian made Vintage Steam Engine with Windmill
« on: August 15, 2024, 01:27:21 am »
A wonderful old play worn Australian made Renown Steam Engine with Windmill and pumping station that was given to me by a friend and the missing parts were made for it from another friend of mine that many would know Dennis aka Scorpion2nz -

It might be "Renown" Down Under, but Up Over here they are hardly known and rarely encountered.

Way Cool that this assembly has such "friendly" connections, making it of far more personal value, than the sum of its parts!!!

Thanks for sharing this special set-up with us all.

Jim:

Is this new in your collection?

Seldom seen in the USA.

I had one of these verticals that I got from Jeff.  I can't recall where it ended up.

Dennis did a really nice job on the windmill.

Thanks for sharing the video.

Thanks Daniel  :)

Charlie, this is how I received it from my friend Christmas 2019 when he visited.
Dennis did an exceptional job on the repo parts for me.

Oiling the rusty base uncovered some of the original paint.
