An amazing thing to see this 90 year old engine running so well in original condition. How will you fix the lightbulb terminals?

Thanks for asking.

It will only require cleaning the brass generator brushes and the stator and adjusting the pressure on the outside brush.

Awesome finds Gil!! Glad you got the whistle back with the engine, I’ve had to make extra purchases in the past too to get the correct parts.

Thanks Nick! I have made additional purchases before.

However, I have never before paid double what the parts engine was worth.

The main thing is the whistle is now reunited with it's proper engine.

The 1950s #25 it came off of will be sold for a partial recovery.

Very nice Gil, I also noticed the hold down flange for the firebox & chimney stand also unique in that they are not cut at 45% and are bent straight out and rounded over. the windings have been formed on a hub that is generally press fit over the shaft since inception I believe. i just made a video the other day about modifying current tube production sight blocks to fit the button style early 9/32nds screw.
