Thanks Gil. I'm aware of the Weeden purchase. The Weeden versions are essentially the same engines with a few things added like oilers, a little nickel plating, a typical Weeden water gauge, and in some models, electric heating. But I'm interested in digging out the history of Side and his company. Some of his engines are marked Philadelphia and others New Jersey, so will also try and sort that out. Side's engines are extremely well made and run on steam like a Swiss watch.
