This is one of my Lipsia "Leipziger Lehrmittelverlag Dr. O. Schneider" made by Maerklin. It has a water pump and a Dynamo. The adjustable plate with the wooden
platform is orignal like the rest of the steam plant. The Dynamo itself is
an older Stuart - but fits well also the color is okay. I have never seen
an original Dynamo on a Lipsia as these did not work for long and have
been therefore removed by the owners. The complete Plant is very sturdy made and
of good quality for its age.

Very nice and rare plant, Arnold!
I really like this Arnold, I am especially fond of the generator tightening system used on this setup, I can see myself using that idea in the future.
The Stuart looks very good, like it was there from the beginning.
Any idea on the age of those with metal bases?

ca. 1915 would be my build estimate. The Lipsia did not appear in any Marklin catalog to my knowledge. However, my Lipsia bears a Marklin hallmark from the 1910-1915 time frame.
