Hi guys
We at Jensen have always considered it fair that we keep our loyal fans in the information loop, when possible. Sadly this post is a sign of the current times. I've just posted the following message on our web site. We truly believe things will once again become more normal, soon and our 100th year celebration is still in the future..so stay tuned.
Attention Jensen Fans
Due to the current worldwde pandemic, the Governor of Pennsylvania has declared that all non-essential Pennsylvania businesses are to cease operation as of March 20, 2020, at 7:00 pm, local time. This order will remain in effect, indefinitely. We will still accept orders through our web site, but shipping will be delayed until we are allowed to reopen the factory. No cards will be charged until the time of shipping. We also hope you'll understand the need to curtail visits to the factory
We were a little surprised to learn that steam engines are not considered essential, (huge grin) but we certainly do realize how important it is to comply, especially during these trying times. The good news is that quarantine means lots of available time for exploring the Jensen web site and for steaming your Jensen engines.
In our 88 years, Jensen has survived several wars, depressions and resessions. We fully intend to survive the curent crisis as well. We're a stubborn and resillient lot
Best wishes from the Jensen steam team for your continued good health
Thanks, Steve!
It's only 12 years to the 100th anniversary of Jensen Steam Engines and we plan to be here for it.
That said, PLEASE don't stay closed for the next 12 years.
Gil
Great message as posted .... sets just the right tone.
Thanks for the heads up Jensen, and I'll look forward to future business dealings with you fine folks!!!
Thanks for the update Steve, I hope Jensen has a good future after all of this, would love to see them make it to their 100th
Thanks all at Jensen. Hang in there.
I'm pretty sure Jensen is an essential business and must remain open. ;-)
Thanks for the notification Steve, definitely uncertain

Well wasn't Jensen an important manufacturer during war times. Didn't they make air pumps. Could Jensen be used some way in producing the much needed respirators.
We're going to need a hell of a lot of those and and every component doesn't have to be made in house.

And it would give my grandkids something to watch for on ebay years down the road to add to their Jensen collection
Thanks for the update. That reminds me I need to make an order for an 85 and some parts!
