It was passed twice at a Bertoia sale, this seller buys and re-sells a lot from them.

I bought a twin fire-pumper from the same sale that was also passed on the auction.

Here’s when it was passed in Nov ‘19





And sold Aug ‘20 for $350 (plus commision). The ebay seller often reuses Bertoia’s pictures

Looks like the seller took a loss if they paid $350 + 20-25% commission + shipping and now ebay fees...

What was there looked nice, but missing quite a bit for $400...

Here’s some similar examples from previous sales with quite a range in price. I was very tempted at the time with the $800 piece!
