Wobbler Engine + Butter Churner + Brass Boiler!
« on: April 06, 2024, 11:52:57 am »
 :D

Was playin’ around today with some borrowed goodies…   A wobbler engine cast iron and runs well, albeit a STEAM HOG!    Theoretically I could put butter cream into the accessory and make butter but I don’t want to gum it up with butter.

The brass boiler is a beast. Runs on a regular Coleman camp stove burner.    Takes a while to get to steam, but expected on a large boiler as such.

This engine needs 20 psi or better to run. Couldn’t run it on a Jensen boiler.

Enjoy!   TxLabMan shoutout again for the borrowed items!  I am having fun.

The wobbler engine was made by mrpete222 aka Tubalcain.  The parts are made from his aluminum castings.  A couple years ago he had an auction of some of his steam engines and other engines that he made.  I bought three steam engines from him and an eltro-magnetic engine (that didn't work).

I had only run it on air.  So, Travis steamed it up for the first time.

I found a video, among his thousands of videos, of a similar engine that he made.
