Think it would be wise to ad extras to the existing thread in "Toy Steam, Scale Model, and Antique Engine References", to have just one reference-list as complete as possible in the same spot?

Just in.  I hope it is true. A German EBAY seller just
replied to my question regarding shipping small items
from Germany.  I've been in contact with him since last
summer and have been waiting for the following words...

'it is not so expensive.
Up to 500 g it is 7,00 Euro
up to 1 kg it is 12,00 Euro and up to
2 kg it is 23 Euro.'

He told me earlier that it is slow, by boat, up
to six or seven weeks.  I've already been through
that long drawn-out wait.  At least the shipping
cost is now lower, and you can fit a lot of bits
and pieces in a 500g package.
