Karsten Gintschel Saxonia
« on: May 29, 2021, 09:54:30 am »
I recieved an email from Karsten in March about his making a new steam plant named Saxonia  with an oscillating cylinder rather than his turbine powered ones . He was going to limit them to 20 total . I ordered one but since March have not heard from Karsten nor is he answering emails . Has else heard from him or seen a Saxoia that has been built ?

Also got the message back in March but I passed on it, so haven’t been in any recent contact with Karsten

Over the years, I have ordered the Tornado-turbineplant and a number of accessorie-models that goes  with the Tornado. And late wintertime; the Saxonia.

At time of earlier orders; none of my models have been "in stock". They have been manufactured after time of order.
So waiting 8-12 -15 weeks is to expected in my experience. "All things come to those who wait" :-)

To those who not are familiar to Karsten Gintschel; he is an gifted & inventive artisan with his own distinct art-expression.
The detail-quality of finish, design and functionality is premium. So if you like his creations or not is more a question of personal taste & preferences.

I got my Saxonia yesterday.
It looks absolutely marvelous ! There are so many details to appreciate ! [ Guests cannot view attachments ] [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

My Saxonia #8 arrived today and very excited to see it run. However, I cannot find the instruction sheet and so would any current owners of this amazing machine be able to post a pdf copy on the site. I have reached out to Karsten as well and so I’m hedging my bets as I would like to run the machine tonight. Many thanks and regards, Gavin
