Antique Store Finds
« on: May 08, 2021, 08:28:01 am »
Since it has been raining all week, and I cannot get out to mow the grass, I decided to take some time and visit a local antique store.  I stop by here occasionally, and rarely see anything steam related, but on this trip I found two steam-related items.  Although a little overpriced, at least it was nice to see some steam related itemss!

The first item is a Wilesco, model unknown to me.  It looks complete, and it is $130.  The second one is either a very large model engine or a very small working engine.  It is actually a very nice engine, but again, probably a little overpriced!

In response to your description on the second find and being a little overpriced.

The first machine is a Wilesco D16. As I see it, it is complete except for the chimney and in good condition. The photo is a bit blurred. The second machine I do not know, but "overprized" is still a bit understated.😂

If they think the second one is worth $7500 , what in the world is it doing outside of a locked case ?
