This is a recent acquisition. I've just cleaned it up a bit. It seems to be in remarkable condition for a >75 year old engine.

I think you might find it is a little bit older than 75 years however.

Aha .... I do see that you have a "greater than" symbol (>) before the 75, so you do know!!

I have one that is essentially identical sitting not three feet in front of me as I type this!!!

Man, that engine looks mint - did they keep that engine a safety deposit box?

Nice score! I was gunning for that one too. It’s a perfect example of a transition 25 probably built around 1946 or so.

That is superb, Jim...!!!

It is one of a handful of early postwar engines that Tom Sr. put together utilizing leftover riveted boilers from the 1930's that sat in a parts bin during WW2.

As mentioned several times above.... it is in astoundingly great condition.
