Made one of those many years ago, from an old beat-up D141 "werkstatt" and a D16.

Was pretty soon dismantled for parts though, as all i had to fire my engines back then was Esbit, and the heat from those stinkers wasn´t enough to keep up with 2 engines under load.

A decent gas burner would probably make a go of it!

Absolutely Daniel  :)

Just been playing with the D16 here, which has the exact same boilersize as this, but a significantly larger bore than the D10 cylinders used here.
Have no doubt whatsoever, that this boiler could even fuel 2 D16 cylinders, when fired by a proper gas setup...just wouldn´t have that much runtime in it, before it´d need a water refilling.
