Project 10X
« on: December 08, 2019, 10:03:57 am »
I have been working on a little project lately. Still not completely done but thought I would share it. Got a raw casting from a friend. I machined it and used a Jensen 25 cylinder and reversing linkage, used a armature and 3 peice magnet from a new generator and lamp post. This is what I come up with. Prototype 1952 model 10 with reversing lever and 3 peice magnet.  Model 10X

Did your friend do the casting or was it new old stock?

He took a engine apart and had castings made from it.

They would probably go broke for sure. We couldn't leave anything alone. We would keep changing and coming up with new stuff to much. One thing is for sure there would be some neat stuff being built.

That is really nice Randy , some fine machining there , you make this look easy, but I know some of the work that goes into producing something like this , I also am looking forward to the reveal steaming video.
