The smell from the oil refinery causes me to turn off the car heater and hold my breath when I drove by it on the rare occasion. I am surprised that a human can love that smell.

Interestingly, I like the smell of well cared for cow's manure. The cows must be mostly grass fed.  I basically grew up on a old fashioned farm. My grandparents' farm was practically an artisanal farm.
