That pump can move some water, Doug. Nice work on the bodged up plans, and getting the job done just right. I have one of these, and am still impressed how much water they will move. I need to get mine piped up. Someone brazed some compression fittings on it though, so far the only pipe I've found to fit it is soft 5/8 nylon hose. And no, 5/8 brass or copper pipe won't fit(too big), nor will 1/2(too small)
Mine came with piping that is 3/4 o.d. copper, which is refrigeration tubing. My local supply house luckily had and adapter to regular 3/4" copper plumbing (watet) pipe.
