A steam powered pencil sharpener that came to me in a dream one night & I built it the following weekend, this is a big hit with the kids during my shows.

thanks Jim, I sold it in a moment of weakness & have regretted it ever since, I cant find the time to duplicate it.

There would be some hours in that build for sure Bruce. Love the pencil sharpener and always liked the van.

Thanks Jim , I hesitate to post the same thing over & over again as I don't want to bore folks , but this being a new forum I'll relax my rules a little bit.

This is a friction brake that I came up with. Turning the knob left or right increases or decreases the friction on the shaft, very simple and its very effective to put a load on an engine and of course fun to use :)

Jim that is a different drive shaft from others that are but I like the idea.

Have always admired the workshop the most Bruce - shows great craftsmanship! And the living van is special also - got to try to build one of those someday.

Larry

Dougs Slinkey-tester was the one single inspiration-source behind my slinkey-accessorie.
I asked Doug for permition to persuit my own Version; which resulted in my slinkey-accessorie. It was my mastermind mechanical inclined friend Ioan who planned and built it.
