Is it a Carette engine
« on: October 19, 2022, 05:09:55 am »
I've just bought this engine and the seller told me it was possibly by Carette around 1900 in date,
the base is cast iron and 162x108mm in size,
boiler is 145mm long and 60mm diameter,
height to top of flywheel is 150mm and it's 55mm diameter,
weight is 944g,
i assume the chimney and water gauge are missing,
can anyone confirm it is by Carette and what the model number is ?.
Thanks Trevor. [ Guests cannot view attachments ] [ Guests cannot view attachments ] [ Guests cannot view attachments ] [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

Trevor I'm not very knowledgeable on German engines ,but there are many here that are...it sure is a nice plant though.
