Stuart Beam engine at work
« on: March 14, 2021, 09:34:46 am »
It was time to take the dust off my Beam engine - this it not allowed to my Lady!
This engine can run the whole day - no problem - the steam heats the water of the
reservoir and can then manually pumped to the boiler. The Dynamo has an output of 4,5 V
enough for a small Maerklin Candelabra. Everything of the best quality and durability.
The Regulator is home made and full functional. I also made the parquet floor myself.
The Engine, Boiler and Condenser are Factory Products. Enjoy and happy Sunday, Arnold

freshly cleaned and back on the shelf:

That's a beautiful set up. Very smooth running engine and certainly a different style of
chuff pot/reservoir. Good use of oilers, I like it a lot. I didn't notice any pressure
registering on the gauge, but I did notice how the water level dropped in the sight glass
when you opened the steam valve. Great video, thanks for sharing.
