By chance do you know the Facebook group's name?
The triple header is in "Scale Model Steam Engines, Tractors, and Farm Equipment", search "triple heading" in the "search this group" area. Jim Evans posted the video, he was at Forest City.
I've also seen a video where two engines used the same pulley. One was parked behind the other and the belt was underneath/inside the other belt, coming in from a slight angle.

Have thought about it but never tried it... On one of the facebook pages there are videos of two and three scale traction engines belted to a sawmill... I don't know how to share them as they are not on youtube...

Not sure how steam engines perform when ganged, if you want controversy check some of the tractor pull or dragster discussion groups lots of different but definite opinions. :)

Has anyone experimented running a gang of engines?
On the first attempt, it seemed like the two engines did not synchronize.
But later it appeared that they they worked together. I'm not sure if that was because one was cold and actually was a drag on another. Thoughts?
