In southwest Minnesota, we have some which have been dated to quite a long time ago due to atlatls and other tools depicted. Jeffers Petroglyphs
An interesting time machine.

Pretty much the same I did Lenn. We have incredible amounts of petroglyphs here abouts and I've often sort of sketched some of the interesting ones I've liked. I've also collected rocks that have been "sunburnt" by facing the sun for a million or more years, out on the desert pavements (not talking about roads) of uplifted alluvial fans. So I've chipped some of those designs into some of those rocks, and this is the result.

I like the different rock photos.

Not sure what's going on here as I posted two of those moth photos from the same camera using the same settings, and that was not problem, but these rock photos are overloading the file size for some odd reason. Perhaps it is my computer or server acting up again, and really isn't a forum problem at all.

I`ve been using Imgur and am real happy with it.

I tried using the thumbnail attachments options, but got file too large messages on them too. Probably have to take the images into Photobucket and shrink them some in the future, but that's about all I'm going to try to post here. Do have a few others scattered around, and have given maybe half a dozen away.

Looks good, i use medium thumbnail when posting multiple pictures.

Can't seem to post more than one photo at a time here, so I guess my format is too large. Let me try something else here ...

Those rock "pets" you've created there are cool beans Lenn!
But I must admit that when I first read the title of this thread, I thought you were talking about the petroglyphs type of rock art, like these:
