Saw something similar on Pinterest where a flute was routed along each row for fingers to grip dies, yours certainly beats my system of throwing them in a tool box drawer.

Thanks guys I made these years ago for all the different die sets that I have accumulated.

Didn't take long and very easy to make out of cheap pine.

Fantastic idea Jim, beats the hell out of those stupid plastic holders, you only see things like this on very expensive sets, keep up the great work.

You are far more organized than most of us Jim. Maybe someday I'll get there...

Wonderful holders you've made there Jim. Trim and efficient protection and storage. Only thing I can think of to make them better would be to make a slight gouge groove alongside each depression so that a finger can get alongside each die to help lift it out. Likely you don't find that necessary at all, so to do so would serve no point.

Nice work creating a handy addition to your shop ... as usual!!!

Easy Button Die Storage Solution using some 6" x 3/4" pine, two hinges, a clasp and a forstner drill bit.
