Title: One Third Scale New Holland Hit and Miss Engine- This is two days' work??!
Post by: crazydoug on June 29, 2019, 06:05:26 pm
I needed to get a lot of tiny parts made before I need to return the loaner engine in a few weeks.  I actually thought it would take this weekend and most of the next, but having a completed engine, along with the blueprints, sure makes the work go faster.  I now have all of the governor and speed control  parts made and assembled, and it looks like it will work like it should.

There is still a lot of work to do to the engine.  Some of the parts already machined need to be done over, but all the tiny and unique to this engine parts are done.  The rest is pretty cut and dry machining.  I will be setting this project aside for a while, as I have a part to make for a friend, and several engine shows to go to over the next few week
