We had our "fun fireworks", smuggled in from Wisconsin, last weekend at my grandma's 80th birthday party. But we still had to light some sparklers this evening. :)

Here in the USA, each year on July 4th we celebrate our independence and honor those who provided the blueprint our nation is built on and those who served to provide us with and protect the blanket of freedom we walk this earth under.
July 4th 1776 is considered the day that the Declaration of Independence marked the birth of our nation. OK, so Jefferson wrote the first draft in June and all the signatures were applied in early August 1776. None of this alters the fact that July 4th as our independence day. Some of the most brilliant minds the planet could offer set a course for the birth of our nation and provided the road map that is still followed today.
Happy 4th of July to all....!!!
