Another wonderful video chock full of great information.

I would suggest that the supaburner isn't "sucking" the meths along the wick and out the pipe, but is rather pressurizing the tank to force the meths out the pipe, which is why you don't want a vent hole anywhere in the tank.

On another note, I wonder if somehow mounting some screen mesh material along the upper portion of the pipe, in the way of the jetting flame, might not act as a flame spreader and radiant heat surface to increase the heating power of these amazing burners even further?
