Those are nice engines. Good luck with it!

No problem restoring this one ..... just a quick wipe down with an oily rag, and she'll be good as new.
NOT!!!
Keep us posted as you work on this one, and give us a photo or two along the way so we can see how you're progressing. Looks like a worthwhile resto project from here!

Thank you very much indeed.
The lineshaft and punch in the pictures are available if anybody can use them.

I think it sounds like a fine project, and am certain your colourscheme will fit this engine wonderfully.
Do keep us posted as the work progresses :)
NOTE - unable to get picture to load but there is a picture of it in the for sale section. When I load it it keeps saying this site cannot be reached ?

Kudos to you for choosing a custom color. There are plenty of them in original colors. It only makes sense to bring engines back to original colors if the original colors are rare.
Thank you for the thumbs up on the colour scheme. Just wish I could get the picture to load.

I listed this engine with lineshaft and a press in the for sale but nobody want it.
So I will try to restore.
I am thinking to repaint to how I like to see it, ie dark green unlined base, black firebox, ladders and chimney with black base to engine stand with green inset panels and red flywheel.
