that's probably going to be the case with a lot of my Creations nowadays Nick, all the more to add to the uniqueness of this thing we call ...collecting steam engines.
I make no pretense at all about what I make or what I sell. I also don't presume for a second that every engine I buy is completely original either 😉👍

Someday down the road you’re really going to have confused a lot of Jensen collectors :D
They’ll be talking about how Tom Jensen Sr must have found a riveted boiler in the back corner and used it up on this 55 😂

That sure is a neat looking plant, well done Bruce !!!
-
thanks for the kind comments folks, this engine has a special place for me. 😊
-
On a scale of 1 to 10 ........ that steam plant is at least a 14.
Gotta love a #55 with its even power application and slow speed performance, not to mention self starting capability.
Well, I guess YOU don't have to love the Jensen #55's, but I certainly do, and that one even more so!!!

Great looking engine Bruce - the boiler really sets it off.

Wow, what a stunning engine with it's brand new boiler. That is simply beautiful art in motion. Boiler is definitely of a higher caliber than what ever left Jeannette...the finish took a lot of work to be so mirror bright.
Nice work Jed and Bruce!

Awesome Bruce! 8)
Wish they would have continued using the rivets even though they were no longer necessary.
Love the tick-over speed at the beginning of the video

Great to see Jed's boiler as part of that lovely engine which really sets it off a treat!
Thanks for sharing Bruce!

here we have a 1950's brass tag riveted boiler steam plant, the brand new construction boiler was custom made by Jed Pusczykowski (YouTube under the same name) Gearhead Jed on this forum, & is near flawless in quality & implementation, all bushings/fittings are custom made, this boiler while having rivets also has more modern fittings on top to be used in such a way as I did here. the firebox & chimney stand were bead blasted & repainted with VHT gloss black paint (inside & out), & a replacement chimney was made , the engine was cleaned, tuned & runs very well in either direction, the plinth is original.
