I tend to like the full versions of most sites on my mobile but most like an effective and fast mobile version better on their phone.

When I first opened this forum on my phone (before I went live) it had a very generic looking page on black and white. I think at that point I was given an option to have the full site which I selected.

Forum host just replied with the following:

It auto detects popular devices like iphone, ipad, android and switches.
Otherwise click mobile link in the footer of your of forum.

Post by: magpie38 on March 05, 2019, 04:24:40 pm: Ok so over the last few years l have been distracted, so most of my time, effort and money has gone into renovating and riding classic skateboards and bmx, (not the norm for a man that should know better has he hurtles through his fifties). steam was put on the back burner, sure l missed the forum but it was not the forum as such that made it special but the people found within. When l did drift back to the forum l must admit l found the new layout and format did not sit too well with me, but l kept with it as l missed the people, anyway l am still a member of the Unofficial forum and will remain so as, despite tapatalk, it still is special to me and so are all those connected with it, however, I must say from what l have experienced so far l really do like the format of this forum and it already feels like home as there are so many familiar faces here already, very familiar names, its like a gathering of old friends.
