Hi There I am new to the site and have a new Chinese hit and miss cant seem to get going very little compression check the spark valve clearance 5 mm lube every thing with marvel mystery oil, fuel coleman with 2 oz Mystery marvel oil to a quart which is 15 to 1 which may be to heavy I fly rc 2 strokes at 32 to 1 but dont know instructions are ?
Try moving the valves by hand. Sometimes a little dirt keeps the valves from seating properly. Mine had that problem at first. I jiggled the valves, then I got proper compression. I use a 16 to one ratio of Coleman fuel to marvel oil and it
works fine. Good luck. I hope this helps.
Sometimes your valves aren't closing all the way.
Possible causes are:
Spark plug boot rubbing against spring retainer.
Pushrod binding just enough to prevent full retraction.

fine-looking little engine, have a great time at Kinzers Rough and Tumble show Gil & Simone 😊

I have been packing for the show ever since I got home from work today.
Tomorrow we hit the road early and should be there in time for dinner with the model building crew.
Also a package arrived with a little gem.
It is a Saf-Toy electric motor powered steam engine.
I suppose not having any flames or heat made it "safe".
It was on ebay with a buyitnow for the princely sum of $39 and at that price I just couldn't pass it up.
Below are a few pictures of it after a quick wipe down.
I also plugged it in and it runs like a champ!
