Very interesting in that this engine has two totally separate boiler / engine systems with no pressure equalizing crossover, so they are only tied together by being on the same crankshaft!

I may well agree with Scott's recommendation, and even second the motion, but first I'm going to have to decipher whatever the heck the second half of his acronym means .... guess I need to brush up on my code breaking skills!?!?

In any case, that was one fine video production you have provided for us here Charlie .... Well Done!!!

Thank you Daniel.  In the video, I pulled one of the burners to see how it would run.  As you can see, it only ran for a few more seconds on a single burner.  This version of the Model 340 is very different than the 4 Doll Double Boilers that Oliv showcased in one of his videos.  Mine only has one flywheel and one whistle.  and his 4 have a connecting steam pipe between the two boilers.

I nominate this video for the first OOSFFMATSGAHAE Academy Awards for Sound Production.

Nice runner of an engine not seen often.

Thanks Charlie.

Thanks Scott.  We inherited my daughters rescue dog, April (1 1/2 years old), while my daughter is in Columbia on a Fulbright Scholarship for a year.  The dog woke me up at 2am to go out and I couldn't go back to sleep.  So, I edited the video from 2-4 am.

The footage was shot with my DJI Osmo Pocket and I edited it with iMovie on my new iPad Pro (1 Terabyte of Storage).  iMovie was recently upgraded to add some more features/functionality and I experimented with a number of the new features in the video.

When I reviewed it after editing, I told myself that this was the best video I had made so far (and the 148th video posted to my Channel).  A long way from the first video I posted on my YouTube Channel.   8)

Here is the first video I posted on May 27, 2017:
