Orange County is nothing that I'd wish on anybody!
I've never been to California and can't really say that I want to...
California is actually 80% unbelievably wonderful geographically, no place like it in the whole world really ..... but the politics of the big cities causes it to stink really badly!!!

Haha this old house holds the heat very well upstairs in the summer. I make it up to her in the winter when I keep the heat set to about 60F ;) All winter long when she's hiding under the blanket I tell her to think about how hot it it is up there in the summer :D :D
Hope he has as much fun at that range as your other son did at Bill's!
He's shown me some YT vids of it, it looks ok, but doesn't have the same impact I don't think that Bills has ( I still cant get over the photos that Tom took of the guns on the walls at Bills) !!
Its a shame they can't ever go together, but there needs to be one of them to stay behind in Oz to run things.

From the videos I seen, Jim's son had a ton of fun at Bill's Gun Shop! 8) 8)

35°C at night in Minnesota, Nick you really do get a taste of all the seasons there.
And you have Bill's Gun Shop as well :)
Its my other sons turn to go to the U.S this time for business next month and he's going to Orange County in California (other son can't believe he got Minnesota :) ) and he's already booked into a gun range in Orange County :)
Jim, you should have him come up here to Bishop if he wants to spend time on a gun range. I spent the whole day down there last Wednesday, and had it all to myself! ;c)

Probably opening one of these in Minnesota :)Most here have central air as we do get 2-3 months in the 80's-90's with very high humidity, but we just have a window shaker that came with the house... my wife made me put it in when we were trying to sleep and it was 94F (35C) in our bedroom

Deer season? or as an Aussie am I missing something :)Jim, it is a comfortable time of year (climate wise) in most of the US, humidity starts to drop , cool evenings , before the crops are harvested & while the farmers cant get into the fields , many farm/tractor shows are held here.
